Help Aid Judoka in Japan!

East Bay Judo Institute has teamed up with KuSakura, a Japanese judo gi company, to provide uniforms for judo players in Japan who have lost theirs in the tragedy.

How can you help? Make a monetary donation to the East Bay Judo Institute. We’ll collect donations until March 31, 2010. We’ll then send our donations to KuSakura and make sure that judo uniforms are donated to those in need.

We will target the hardest hit areas – especially Northern Japan – and work with the local company to make sure our funds go to providing judogis to kids who lost their gis in those areas.

Please make checks payable to East Bay Judo Institute. You can mail the donation to the address above, or bring it in with you when you visit the dojo.
